It feels great to have successfully finished our program! It was lots of fun and certainly informative. I hope I can keep it up!

I installed Firefox and have have been playing around. I really enjoy StumbleUpon! Have seen lots of sites I probably would never find. My friend is going to China to teach and I stumbled upon some beautiful pictures of China for her. I can see how lots of time can be spent exploring!

Gaming

Well, I've been playing a few games, mostly cards and Jeopardy! I won $11,800.00! Too bad it's not real. I've looked at a few of the other games but haven't actively played yet. I will try some this week.

Facebook

I registered on Facebook and took a look around. I didn't really find it all that simple to navigate but I didn't spend a lot of time on it. I can see how people could really get caught up in it! Personally for the moment I'm going to stick with my Yahoogroups for socializing but I will try and look for some people from my past on Facebook.

LibraryThing

For this week's task (week 8) I created an account on LibraryThing. I started adding a few of my favorite titles. I was amazed to read some of the comments made by users; apparently a lot of people think this is the greated idea since sliced bread. It's interesting and certainly a good way to keep track of your books but I don't think it's going to really change my life for the better as some users seem to think it will. Each to their own, I guess.

Del.icio.us and Flickr

I created my accounts on both Del.icio.us and Flickr. I even managed to add two photos (of my dogs) to Flickr. It took me some time but I managed. I can see that you could spend hours on these sites!

My wiki

As I was reading about setting up my wiki, it seemed very daunting. However, once I started it, it wasn't so hard. I looked at some other wikis and even edited one for spelling mistakes! It's an interesting concept and I will enjoy playing around! Now I have to go walk the dogs...

Well, I created my account. So far I've only subscribed to two feeds, "It's a dog's world", the adventures of Grady, and ETG one. I'm enjoying reading about Grady since I love dogs and have had one who acted a lot like Grady! Happy weekend all!
